JACQUI LAMBIE NETWORK ANNOUNCES BRADDON CANDIDATE

Today the Jacqui Lambie Network launched our candidate for Braddon, Sophie Lehmann.

Sophie is a project manager living in Ulverstone with her partner and two young daughters.

“I’ve felt for a while that there’s something wrong with how politics is working for normal people,” she said. “I put my hand up for Jacqui because I want to do something about it.

“I’m here to make Braddon a place where my girls can thrive— to make our state a place where everyone has a fair shot at life. That’s what politics can do for people, but the big political parties have missed their chance to make it happen.”

“Sophie is a superstar,” said Senator Lambie.

“She knows what she wants to do, and she gets out there with her boots on to get it done. That’s just who she is. She’s tough, and she’s determined.

“I’ve lived in Braddon my whole life. I’ll tell you: we need someone to start fixing the mess Liberal and Labor politicians have made here. Soph’s a professional problem-solver. That’s what we need.”

Sophie’s top priorities are to fix the crisis in mental health care in Tasmania and improve women’s safety.
