What Gunns says:
28 April 2009
Anti-Mill Campaigners Stop Jobs
Gunns is concerned that anti-jobs campaigners are attempting to deprive
Tasmanian families with their campaign against banks who
wish to finance the Pulp Mill Project
~
The Bell Bay Pulp Mill has been designed to the most rigorous
environmental standards
~
“People have the right to express their point of view but I would like anti-jobs
campaigners to consider the Tasmanian economy at the moment. The
Pulp Mill Project will create 2,500 jobs – that’s 2,500 families that
will be supported through the recession”
John Gay, Executive Chairman, Gunns Limited
