Dear Premier Bartlett,
The UK High Court ruling from Mr. Justice Collins issued on 14 Nov 2008, is highly significant in that it states that the Government has been acting unlawfully in its policy and approach in relation to the use of pesticides in crop spraying.
I enclose the media release and a joint open letter to you (including your Ministers for Primary Industry, Water and Energy, Resources, Planning; Health; and Environment) calling on you to take responsibility and protect human health in Tasmania from pesticide exposures.
