Five original Tasmanian wildlife artworks by Hobart-based artist and illustrator Natalia Bennett / n.c.bennett studio are being auctioned to raise funds for Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary.

The artworks, currently displayed at Hobart Airport, feature the Spotted-tailed Quoll, Masked Owl, Swift Parrot, Tasmanian Devil and Wedge-tailed Eagle – five endangered species commonly injured on Tasmanian roads.

The auction forms part of the broader Slow Down for Wildlife message, encouraging locals and visitors to reduce speed, take care on the roads, and protect Tasmania’s native animals.

Bonorong’s 24/7 Wildlife Rescue Service handles approximately 20,000 calls for wildlife in need every year, with road trauma remaining one of the most serious threats to local wildlife.

Full sale proceeds from the five original artworks will be donated to Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary by artist Natalia Bennett, through Friends of Bonorong.

The online auction opens on 12 June and closes on 22 June.
