A photo essay by documentary photographer Philip Bohle at the No New Stadium Rally on Parliament Lawns, Hobart, 23 November 2025.
Estimates of crowd numbers range from 1,500 (Premier Jeremy Rockliff stated on ABC television) to 10,000 (across social media and the organisers). The lawns were full almost all the way to the edges in all directions. The area under the trees, and surrounding them was densely packed (as you can see in the pics). The bus from Launceston was delayed, and arrived midway through, so that added some more to the numbers.
