Entries Now Open: August – September Cartoon Competition, $200 Prize!
Our monthly cartooning competition is ongoing with the winning entry to receive a $200 cash prize.
The monthly winner will be judged by legendary Tasmanian cartoonist Jon Kudelka. Unless his brain falls out or something like that, you never know.
At the end of the year, readers will be able to vote for a People’s Choice annual winner.
The inaugural competition month of June – July is done and dusted, check it out here.
We will post the June/July winner once these entries have been judged.
So please get cartooning!
If you’d like to ‘toon on something else, please let us know and we’ll consider it as a theme for future months 🙂
August – September 2025 competition – any original cartoon or meme, previously unpublished with the theme ‘What will our next parliament be like with a minority party in power and a strong and diverse crossbench?’.
Prize $200. Entry is free but limited to one cartoon per person. Any angle or approach is fine. The funkier the better.
Entries will be accepted until midnight on the last Sunday of the month which in this case will be 28 September 2025.
Good luck, and happy drawing!
