Posted on

The 2025 Very Short Film Festival 2025  will screen the finalist films throughout the national tour first screen in Sydney last week.

The Festival is coming to Hobart this Friday 15 August with a screening 19:00 to 21:00.

On show will be a handpicked selection of finalist films, each offering a unique take on this year’s theme: “Seed.”

They’re all short — just 2 to 5 minutes — and together they showcase the depth and diversity of Australian storytelling.

“Enjoy exclusive screenings, live filmmaker Q&As, and fresh, powerful stories from emerging voices.

“With 20 standout films from across the country — including work from junior and first-time filmmakers — you’ll laugh, reflect, and be inspired. There’s something for everyone,” said a spokesperson.
