Tassie Raised Mum Wins Gold – Catastrophically Fabulous
Husna Pasha of The Happychondriac Society has been named the winner in the Peoples Choice Award
Created by sisters Peace Mitchell and Katy Garner, the AusMumpreneur Awards celebrate the achievements of Australian mums in business across a wide range of categories, including business excellence, product innovation, customer service, sustainability and technology.
Husna Pasha of The Happychondriac Society has been named the winner in the Peoples Choice Award, making a difference – Health and Wellbeing for the 2025 AusMumpreneur Awards.
Born in India, raised in Tasmania in the 80’s, Husna Pasha grew up in New Norfolk where her parents worked at the Royal Derwent Hospital for over 2 decades.
Her passion for mental health as well as her own generalised anxiety disorder is what has made her the success story she is today.
The Happychondriac Society, founded by Pasha, is on a mission to make mental health approachable, relatable and even a little bit fun.
“By blending evidence-based tools with humour and heart, I break stigma and help communities, schools and workplaces build resilience and connection,” said Pasha.
“I am excited to be named a winner in the AusMumpreneur Awards and I am proud of my achievements in the last 12 months, particularly being lucky enough to return to Tasmania to run multiple workshops for culturally diverse groups and host major community events.”
“This is a huge honour and validation for me having grown up as a minority in a state that is now so rich in diversity,” said Pasha.
“There are many benefits to balancing business and motherhood,” she explains.
“I love having my business because it allows me to create impact in the world while still being present for my family — it’s the best of both worlds.”
“I want people to know they can reach out to me, whether it’s individuals who want to be part of the Happychondriac Revolution, where we own our challenges and turn them into strengths, or workplaces who are ready to tackle mental health in a light-hearted, uplifting way.
Mental health doesn’t always have to feel heavy, and that’s exactly the difference we bring.”
