“State Apprentice of the Year was Fletcher Cashion from Hansen Yuncken and Hands-on Apprentice of the Year was Rory Kent from TDK Construction Pty Ltd.”

Clerk said the Awards for Excellence was the gala night for the Tasmanian industry.

“In what is an increasingly tough environment, particularly for the residential sector, it’s great for our members to come together to celebrate their achievements and support one another.

“We have once again been stounded by the quality of the entries and the winners from across the state.”

The 2024 MBT Awards for Excellence will begin at 18:30, Saturday, 31 August.

Clerk said the National Master Builders Australia Awards for Excellence will be held in Hobart on November 21-23.

“We are expecting our state winners to fare well in the national awards.”
