Help decide Tassie’s Top Tourism Towns of 2024!
(and you could win yourself a Tassie Winter Getaway!)
Six very different and unique Tasmanian cities and towns are vying for the title of Tassie’s Top Tourism Towns of 2024 … and to have the chance to then be named one of Australia’s Top Tourism Towns.
Binalong Bay on the north east coast; Richmond in the south; Queenstown out west; Devonport and Stanley in the north-west; and Ross in the midlands, are our sensational entrants in the search for Tassie’s Top Tourism Towns for 2024.
Each of our entrants have submitted a short video highlighting their key attractions and experiences, a snappy editorial article on why visitors should visit, and an engaging itinerary for a defined target visitor market.
These entries will now be judged by a team of tourism experts – along with the Tasmanian public.
Head to the Tassie’s Top Tourism Town page on the TICT website over the next two weeks to have a look at all the entries and then vote for your favorites – or to just show some love for your hometown.
Votes will be collated with our expert judges’ scores and a customer review score to determine our four category winners:
- Spirit of Tasmania Top Tourism Town (for towns with a population more than 5,000)
- Tasmanian Vacations Small Tourism Town (for towns with a population under 5,000, but greater than 1,500)
- TICT Tiny Tourism Town (for towns with a population under 1,500)
- The People’s Choice’s Award for the Town that receives the highest number of public votes over the next two weeks.
The category winners in the Tiny Town, Small Town and Top Town categories will become Tasmania’s finalists in the search for Australia’s Top Tourism Towns to be announced at Parliament House, Canberra, later this year – where Tassie has a very good track record!
