Housing Crisis Public Discussion
This coming Thursday 13 April from 6:30-8pm at Simple Cider (189 Elizabeth Street, Hobart) three local housing advocates and activists will discuss the practical and radical changes needed to fix the housing crisis and revolutionise housing for the future.
Ben Bartl from the Tenants Union of Tasmania, Danny Carney from Housing Alliance lutruwita Tasmania and Amy Grant from Grass Roots Action Network Tasmania will discuss what to do about empty houses, short term stays, rising rents and the limits of government policy.
Entry is by donation and all funds raised go towards the Mutual Aid Community Kitchen.
