7 Companies Awarded Advanced Manufacturing Grants
Seven Tasmanian companies have been awarded over $0.6 million in grants to assist in expanding their manufacturing capabilities to support interstate and international market growth opportunities.

It is anticipated this funding will encourage approximately $1.72 million in total investment and generate more than 80 new manufacturing jobs within Tasmania.
Madeleine Ogilvie, Minister for Advanced Manufacturing and Defence Industries, said she was pleased to join successful recipients, Bioflex Nutrition, at their production site at Grove in the Huon Valley.
“Bioflex Nutrition will use the $100,000 of funding they have received through round 3 of the AMAGP to assist them with automation processes to ensure continued manufacturing in Tasmania.
“Tasmania’s advanced manufacturers are some of the best in the world and the manufacturing sector is pivotal to the Tasmanian economy, generating more than $7 billion in turnover a year and employing 18,000 Tasmanians.”
Advanced Manufacturing Accelerating Growth Grants program – Round 3 – Successful applicants
Round four of the AMAGP is expected to open in early 2023.
