Giving our young people a voice on Tasmania’s brand

Brand Tasmania has partnered with the Youth Network of Tasmania on an important project to unearth the Tasmanian Youth Story.

Young Tasmanians are our future and have an important role to play in the evolving Tasmanian brand, and this project is focused on unearthing and understanding youth perspectives of the Tasmanian brand, including opportunities to invite more young people into the pattern of success we see here.

YNOT will be delivering a series of interviews and workshops to empower young people aged 18 to 25 to share their experiences and interpretations of the Tasmanian brand story.

The story will capture the unique experiences of what it is like being a young person living in Tasmania. This will help decision-makers better understand the opportunities, challenges, wants and needs of young people 18-25 years and to influence public policy, projects and initiatives that impact them.

This youth story will help inform our work as policy makers and it will inspire projects and other ways for young Tasmanians to build meaningful lives and careers here.
