Re-Opening of the Cascades Female Factory
The Cascades Female Factory was re-opened today (Friday, 25 March 2022).
The Cascades Female Factory Historic Site was re-opened today with the formal launch of the new History and Interpretation Centre by the Honourable Madeleine Ogilvie MP. To watch her speech, click here.
The Honourable Dame Quentin Bryce gave a keynote address, which you can view here.
Light refreshments were provided after the launch ceremony, and guests were able to explore the new History and Interpretation Centre.
As of tomorrow (Saturday, 26 March 2022), the historic site will be open seven days a week between 9:00am and 5:00pm. Click here for more information.
