Have Your Say On Huntingfield & The future of Latrobe & Huon Valley Municipalities

HUNTINGFIELD Masterplan Stages 2 and 3

Communities Tas is implementing the next development stages of Huntingfield, Stages 2 and 3, totalling 470 residential lots.

Public comment is invited on the next stages of the Master Plan in accordance with the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act).

Land to be developed in stages 2 and 3 of the Master Plan is adjacent to the Peter Murrell Reserve, where some threatened/endangered species are located including the Forty-Spotted Pardalote (Pardalotus quadragintus).

Assessment under the EPBC Act is by Preliminary Documentation which can be viewed between 19 January 2022 to 17 February 2022 at the following locations:

The Latrobe Council draft LPS is on public exhibition from 17 January 2022 to 21 March 2022. The draft LPS and related documents are available on the Latrobe Council and the Tasmanian Planning Commission websites.

HUON VALLEY

The Huon Valley Council draft LPS is on public exhibition from 24 January 2022 to 30 March 2022. The draft LPS and related documents are available on the Huon Valley Council and the Tasmanian Planning Commission websites.
