Nick McKim in Isolation as Close Contact of Positive Case

Statement from Greens Senator for Tasmania Nick McKim:
I have been notified that I am a close contact of someone who has tested positive to Covid.
The contact happened while I was in Canberra this week.
I was notified after I arrived back in Tasmania.
As soon as I was notified I informed Tasmanian authorities.
Since arriving back in Tasmania I have been in isolation and I am of course complying with all health directions.
I had no staff from Tasmania with me in Canberra.
I am fully vaccinated and tested negative to Covid this morning.
I’m feeling fine and currently have no symptoms.
