TasCasting has put out an urgent call for actors – that’s real people who don’t mind being in front of a camera – for a new project. They are casting a ‘very exciting campaign for a popular bank’ and are looking for Tasmanians from all walks of life with interesting stories to tell. Shooting will be in Hobart later this month.
They are looking specifically for the roles as described below:
1. COMMERCIAL FISHERMAN + CREW – MALE OR FEMALE (ANY AGE)
2. SMALL BUSINESS OWNER – (55+)
Could be a mechanic, cobbler, watch repair, furniture maker etc. Looking for a pre-retiree who still runs their business but also makes time for the things they love.
3. COUPLE BUILDING A NEW HOME – (30’s – 50’s)
Couple who are halfway through the construction of their dream home. House needs to be in mid construction, so it’s still very clear it’s being built.
4. JUNIOR GIRLS CRICKET PLAYERS (11 – 15YRS)
Looking for a group of Junior Girls Cricket Players (from the same team would be ideal but not required). Ideally from a regional town or suburb just outside Hobart. They must be keen cricketers.
SHOOT DATES: 19 – 24 September 2020 (1 x shoot day only)

TALENT FEES:
Selected Adult Talent will receive $2000 AUD per person for their involvement
Selected Child / Teen Talent will receive between $300 – $750 AUD for their involvement
*All fees are less tax and plus super
**If your property / home, business, studio, lab ect is used for filming an additional location fee will be paid
