Moonah Arts Centre: Calling Glenorchy artists
Calling all artists who live or work in Glenorchy! Whether you’re a professional, a student, or you just like to dabble – Moonah Arts Centre (MAC) wants to show your work.
MAC’s much-loved annual exhibition – the Glenorchy Open – is calling out for entries. Open to all artists living or working in the Glenorchy City municipality, this exhibition celebrates the creativity of our community.
The Glenorchy City municipality includes Austins Ferry, Granton, Claremont, Chigwell, Glenlusk, Berriedale, Rosetta, Montrose, Collinsvale, Glenorchy, Goodwood, Derwent Park, Dowsing Point, Moonah, West Moonah and Lutana.
It’s free to enter the Glenorchy Open. Artists at all stages of their careers are encouraged to enter, including established artists, emerging artists and students.
Artworks in any media can be entered including painting, drawing, print media, sculpture, installation, photography, ceramics, textiles, digital media and more!
Apply online or visit MAC on Albert Road to collect a hard copy entry form.
Dates for your diary:
• Online applications close: Mon 7 Jan, midnight (hard copies need to be received by Fri 4 Jan, 5pm)
• Artwork delivery: Thurs 10 & Fri 11 Jan, 10am – 5pm
• Exhibition opening: Thurs 17 Jan, 6pm
• Exhibition closes: Sat 9 Feb
• Artwork collection: Tue 12 & Wed 13 Feb
