This is an early pre-announcement that another City Conversations will be held in Launceston in early November. Here are basic details:

  • Speaker:              Stuart Davey, former case worker on Nauru
  • Topic:                    Off shore detention of refugees
  • Date:                     EITHER Friday 9 November OR Wednesday 14 November [the date should be sorted in the next week]
  • Time:                     7pm-9pm, plus supper
  • Venue:                 City Baptist Church, 11 Frederick Street, Opposite Princes Square

There will be opportunity for Q&A. You will also hear about hear about how you can participate in a mobile art installation (re Nauru) in Launceston.
