The area affected is the entire supply network of Deloraine with the boil water alert put in place following consultation with the Department of Health and Human Services.
Out of specification water in relation to turbidity has passed through the treatment process and as a precaution a boil water alert is in place.

Any salads prepared or food or fruit washed to be eaten uncooked in either the home or commercial premises earlier today should be discarded.
TasWater’s priority is the health and safety of the community and therefore this action has been taken as a precaution.
