Temperatures above average for most of April
Climatologist Ian Barnes-Keoghan (above) from the Bureau of Meteorology Tasmania is covering the following points in this April climate summary, current as of 1.30pm on 1 May 2018:
• Temperatures above average for most of April
• Beginning of the month saw temperatures up to mid-20s
• Cold front on the 14th brought period of cooler weather
• Liawenee dropped to minus five (- 5) degrees on 18th, the state’s coldest April temperature since 2015
• Mild start to May, but temperatures will start to drop in to winter.
