With thanks, Shannons Take Your Tops Off for Breast Cancer Research 2018
Yesterday’s event was a resounding success with over $2700.00 raised, and with Shannons kindly donating $700 for new quotes on the day,for a grand total in excess of $3400. This figure adds to the previous tally collectively to bring the grand total raised since this event began in October 2012 here in Hobart to $19600.00 locally and $35000 nationally.
The event began as the brain child of Rodney Belbin and Judi Adams and is now an event that Shannons run across a number of states, and is proudly supporting the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Guests from Holland, Wodonga, and Warnamboul also made enquiries about running a similar event in their community.
The event began in Tasmania seven years ago and is a firm favourite with car enthusiasts, car clubs, attendees and the general public.
Winning vehicles for the 2018 event were:
Lord Mayor’s Choice – Jaguar XK120
