Warrane Mornington Neighbourhood Centre celebrations on Monday
March 2018 sees Warrane Mornington Neighbourhood Centre celebrate 30 years of service within the local community.
To celebrate this milestone, the centre is providing a special afternoon tea on Monday 26th March at 2pm here at 150a Bligh Street, Warrane to showcase its work in the community and encourage old and new friends to call in.
We hope to see many of those who have been involved with the centre during this time and to share their memories.
The Premier, Minister Petrusma, Rosalie Woodruff, Jo Siejka, The Mayor and several Alderman and various service providers along with past and present participants will be in attendance and say a few words.
Of course there will be cake.
Many things have changed over the years but the community continues to be an inspiration to us all. Support of the centre and its work has always been great from all levels of government, service providers and the community.
The volunteers who lead the way are the Centre and its community’s most valuable asset. We know with all the support the centre has it will continue its work for many years to come.
