Tasmanian nurse recruitment drive draws a blank, unions blame pay, conditions for failure

A taxpayer-funded, three-week trip to the United Kingdom to entice nurses to work in the Tasmanian health system has so far not resulted in a single recruitment.
Be warned UK – USA – Philippines – India – China – Pakistan – Vietnam – Sri Lanka – Indonesia – Nurses and health professionals.
Tasmania has the national distinction as, “The worst public health system in Australia”. (Australian Medical Association 2017).
The biggest mistake of my life/career was relocating to backwater Mental Health Tasmania. The systemic and ingrained, nepotism, incompetence and historical neglect has been occurring for three ‘sick’ decades. It’s a blind-eyed Tassie ‘no-go-zone!
As a Registered Psychiatric Nurse (1980 Melb) I Involuntarily – ‘Blew the Whistle’ – on Burnie Hospital and Spencer Psychiatric Clinic in 1995.
Be warned For performing my legal and ethical duties in exposing/reporting serious breaches of care, including, attempted murder, rape and sexual assault by senior nurses, to my superiors and then to the Minister for Health, Roger Groom, I was systemically ‘set-upon’ and driven from Tasmania, homeless and destitute. I lost my farm, home, horses and health. Instead of being ‘a solution’ I became ‘their huge problem’. If you don’t ‘give-in and go-away,’ stop rocking the corrupted boat; State sponsored reprisals ‘payback’ is your immediate punishment. If you still persist, then prepare for more lies, obstructionism, grief and devious peril – you outspoken mainlander ‘troublemaker.’

Who exactly are they? Who? Who gave the ‘death threat’ orders? Why?
Fear, Fear, Fear … that’s Tassie all over. That’s their evil game.
Never investigated either, despite the ANF Union being alerted and alarmed. None of us have nursed since … that’s 100 years of combined knowledge, skill, expertise and genuine caring lost to the Tasmanian people, for ever! Five families, careers and livelihoods, ruined, for doing the right thing and alerting our dumb-down health consumers what atrocities are occurring inside ‘their public hospitals.’
Be warned foreigners! Don’t go there! Don’t risk it! Tasmania made me sick and kept me sick, then denied me natural justice. If some perceptive and vigilant nurse/citizen had warned me what goes on down there; I would still have a home and cherished career.
And Health Minister Ferguson ponders: ‘Where have all our used and abused, suppressed and oppressed, demoralised, burnt-out, betrayed, victimised and bastardised, PTSD and depressed nurses gone?’ Clean up your own incestuous backyard first Minister, before you trick, entice and lure other naive suckers from afar whom have no idea how democracy does it business in the Secret State of brutal Tasmania.
Next patient please – but who will it be? The pig, the dog or the sheep?
