Brendon Hext is your candidate for Hobart
Brendon is your candidate because he wants to be involved in the change within the state, a positive change driven by the will of the people of Tasmania.
Once elected he wants to see the Government follow through on their election promises yet be accountable and transparent. He will be a politician of and for the people.
Brendon is a happily married family man with lovely children. He is like you, working hard to support his family like so many of us do.
With his working career Brendon has achieved high recognition within the security industry and completed all standard and non-standard courses.
He is an outdoors person who enjoys Bushwalking, camping, 4W Driving, fishing and motorbike riding.
He knows what it’s like to live on minimum wage within the Tasmanian community.
Brendon grew up in a low-income housing department area and understands the need for housing and job security
He believes more should be done to assist struggling families to purchase their family home and with the high cost of living and the current rental crisis believes the government should do more to give those in a need more assistance
Lorraine Bennett is your candidate for Prosser
Lorraine recently retired after running her own recruitment consultancy for 10 years and another 7 years as the State Manager of recruitment specialising in Human Resources. Having run a successful small business Lorraine understands the need for transparency and true accountability, in the house of review, the Legislative Council.
Lorraine believes holding the government of the day to account, particularly in regards to health, which is very important in our state as we have an ageing population.
The major parties spend too much time point scoring against each other rather than attending to everyday issues. They seem to have forgotten about the very people who put them their positions.
