Labor backflip on land release

Posted on

Labor have performed a spectacular backflip regarding their position on the Government’s proposed land release for affordable housing.

On Thursday, after taking part in the housing summit, Labor agreed with the Communique outlining the land release proposal.

Now in an effort to score cheap political points instead of working with us to help Tasmanians in need, Labor have apparently reneged on their support.

Labor can’t say they hadn’t read the land release report at the time of agreeing to the Communique – it was circulated at the meeting.

The Government hasn’t been recommissioned but already Labor have reverted to what they know best – all complaint, negative and cheap politics.

Tasmanians can see through Labor’s petty politicking. It didn’t work for them at the recent election, and it won’t work for them now.
