A low will pass to the east of Tasmania today bringing falls of 15 to 40 mm to the East Coast. There is some uncertainty as to how close the low will come and exactly how much rain will fall.
Depending on the proximity of the low, falls in excess of 40 mm are possible, and isolated falls may reach up to 90 mm.
A Severe Weather Warning for heavy rain and a Flood Watch have been issued for the East Coast.
A Strong Wind Warning is current for northeastern coastal waters from Banks Strait to the Upper East Coast.
A Warning to Sheep Graziers has been issued for the East Coast.
