
“The Promenaders”, “Rambleras” a film from South American country, Uruguay will open the Latin American Film Festival in Hobart on Friday 22 September in the Stanley Burbury Theatre, at the University of Tasmania, Sandy Bay. The film has received recognition in the United States, Uruguay and Cuba.
On the opening night the Latin American community, will have the opportunity to showcase part of their culture such as traditional food, customs, music and dances.
The film festival is open to the public and the entire program is FREE of charge! All films will be subtitled in English.
The festival runs from 22 to 30 September with Latin American films from 13 different countries, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Guatemala and Costa Rica.
