 Clear evidence the Human Services Minister misled parliament
 Is the Premier prepared to repeat his denial?

Will Hodgman must state whether he stands by his unequivocal denial that the office of the Minister from Human Services attempted to interfere with the role of the Children’s Commissioner.

Yesterday Mr Hodgman said: “there is no substantiation to the claims made by the Leader of the Opposition”.

Labor Shadow Minister for Housing, Disability and Children Josh Willie said there is now clear evidence that the Minister for Human Services has misled the Parliament on multiple occasions in relation to this matter.

“Is the Premier prepared to repeat his unequivocal denials that Jacquie Petrusma’s office did not tell the Commissioner for Children to stop putting sensitive information in writing?,” Mr Willie said.

“These are very serious allegations. We are talking about whether a Minister’s office tried to interfere with the role of a Statutory Officer.

“The Premier cleared his Minister without looking at any of the evidence.

“Is Will Hodgman prepared to implicate himself in a cover up?”
