There is a convergence of Hazaras from around Australia and New Zealand at Government House, Yarralumla and later at Federal Parliament Canberra early today Monday April 3 2017.
Afghan president Ashraf Ghani is in Canberra on Monday 3 April. There is concern that he is going to sign a memorandum of understanding to deport the rejected Afghan asylum seekers back to Afghanistan.
Several Refugee Advocacy Groups and the Australian Hazara community have arranged a protest to oppose this memorandum and also his bigotry policy against Hazaras in Afghanistan.
