Three years into government the Liberals have lost control
The Hodgman Government has lost control of itself, forcing a shutdown of Parliament.
Labor Leader Bryan Green said the Government is feeling the heat.
“Under extreme pressure across a range of issues including child protection, the Government disrupted Parliament to the point it had to be shut down,” Mr Green said.
“After repeated warnings from the Speaker, Government members continued to interject to try and drown out legitimate questions.
“This is a tell-tale sign of a government under immense pressure and out of control.
“The Liberals’ policy agenda is off the rails, their plans for both forestry and TasWater are in tatters.
“In child protection, there’s a new scandal confronting the embattled Minister every single day.
“The Government has broken under the strain and lost its cool in Parliament. They’re a shambles.
“Will Hodgman completely lacks leadership and is in charge of a group of people that is not up to governing.”
