Launch of ‘Doin Time’, a book that tells the story of 9 men who were on the ‘wrong side of the law’ and who have turned their lives around to become valuable members of their communities.
These inspirational men bring to life the dictate that ‘everyone deserves a second chance.’
All proceeds from the book go to charity, Whitelion – www.whitelion.asn.au – who work with disadvantaged youth to put them back on track, offering counselling, mentoring and job placement.
The launch includes Her Excellency The Governor, Professor Kate Warner, author of the book, Rachel Porter, and some of the men featured in the book to hear their stories.
