The Department of Health and Human Services has approved the lifting of the boil water alert affecting people in Lawitta, Dromedary and Boyer.
The Department of Health and Human Services imposed the Boil Water Alert on 8 June after heavy rain resulted in floodwaters impacting on the water supply.
Extensive cleaning or reservoirs has taken place along with significant flushing of the reticulation system.
Recent tests have demonstrated that the system no longer poses a risk allowing for the director of public health to lift the alert.

Residents and businesses will receive written notice over the coming days informing them of the Boil Water Alert being lifted.
