Artists Invigorate Hobart’s Railway Roundabout
Pedestrians will be in for a surprise when Constance Artist Run Initiative launches their latest exhibition, Neither Here Nor There, in the tunnels below Railway Roundabout Memorial Fountain.
The unlikely venue will see six Tasmanian and mainland artists take over the tunnels during Dark Mofo.
“We chose the tunnels because it’s a place that people walk through all the time, but don’t give much thought to. The artists want people to experience the art and the space in new and interesting ways,” says curator, Rebecca Holmes.
