It was my great pleasure to be invited to address the Work and Training Graduation and Awards Night this evening at Blundstone Arena.
Apprenticeships and traineeships deliver real skills for real jobs, and the State Government is proud to work in partnership with key training organisations to support our young people.
Operating since 1988, Work and Training are a major employer of apprentices and trainees. They are also one of the largest registered training organisations.
Through the support of the State Government through Skills Tasmania, Work and Training have successfully delivered employment and training to thousands of apprentices and trainees over the last few years.
A skilled workforce is essential to growing Tasmania’s economy, and it is promising to see so many people, particularly young people, graduate this evening.
Congratulations to all of the award winners as well as Work and Training for their successful Graduation and Awards Night.
