Tasmanian woman Deb Ludeke is running from Launceston to Hobart over four days to raise funds and awareness for young Tasmanians who live with Type 1 diabetes.
Deb is running 22 kilometres to cross the finish line at Wrest Point Casino today, making the grand total of kilometres run over the past four days to be 203 kilometres.
Deb was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 1984, but the Hobart mother has not let that get in the way of her beloved running, and wants younger generations to know diabetes is not a life sentence.
All money raised will be used to help children with Type 1 diabetes manage their condition through subsiding the price of equipment, so they can live well with diabetes.
