This bi-weekly edition of the Feminist Roundup features several articles that address the burgeoning raft of ideological compromise now supported by the neo-liberal feminist movement.

Unlike old school radical feminists, the neo-liberals have embraced the notion of ‘personal choice’ to align themselves with the transgender movement and the pro-sex work lobby. Simultaneously, they have abandoned the fight against entrenched male dominance and the persistence of patriarchy.

Traditional feminists have been banned – or ‘no-platformed’ – from public discussion of feminist issues, and are routinely labelled as ‘transphobe’ and ‘whorephobe’ for expressing views that biological women have a unique lived experience, and prostitution is not a genuine choice when a woman has no other option.

There are questions – so many questions – to be answered, and the currently fashionable feminist discourse is clearly struggling.

For example, why does 65-year old former Olympic athlete and Kardashian alumni, Bruce (now Caitlyn) Jenner think that real women of his age look like middle aged porn stars with a plastic surgery addiction? Why is he portraying a stereotypically male concept of femininity? Why is he being taken so seriously?
