I contested Greg Hall (MLC, Western Tiers) so that he would not get elected unopposed to a seat in the Tasmanian Legislative Council.
At that time I suggested a International University for this site, urging George Town/Tamar to think big and out-of-the-square … put something together that is for our future not a pollution-spewing pulp mill approved by corrupt pollies.
The land will cost you nothing … what a site for a great future institution!
