Epitaph to Forestry Tasmania
There is a reason for all of Forestry Tasmania’s huge debts; quite frankly it is due to directorship by a succession of Chairmen/Board Directors and former CEO’s who had initially been appointed to a position on the board of this now destitute and asset-depleted Government Business Enterprise.
The very same problems have been helped along by the succession of each of the clearly ignorant Forestry ministers holding this portfolio, in this State.
After many years of Tasmania’s more learned citizens claiming the facts and pointing out the failures that were abounding in so many State-wide communities. in the astuteness and validity of their claims, furthermore the very last persons to recognize the insane practices and purposes and are still today ignoring same, are the past and present State forestry ministers.
All well and good for Bryan (the giggler) Green having a dig at the Liberals and their idiotic forestry schemes and plans, when essentially they have not varied to any extent from that of which Bryan (the giggler) Green presided over for so many years.
So now as Bryan Green tries to smooth over his numerous forestry supporting radical failures and stupidities of the past, make no mistake he has been one of those who supported the entirety of the woeful business practices of the loser GBE for all the time he had been foolishly voted for by ill-advised rednecks and this State’s besotted greed merchants.
The history and unto the present of this wreckaholic industry has been faithfully recorded in the headlines of every State newspaper proprietor that has had both newspaper and television outlets as their media platforms, ever aiding these same with their incestuous support to each of the inherent evils that thrived within the logging of this State.
Where now is this Sate’s former wreckholic logger anti-hero, Paul Lennon, former State Premier? Where now are the Kloedens, the Hamptons, the Llewellyns?
Each of the persons referred to in the above, and going back say over the past 15 years have proven how they have wallowed like obese water buffalo in their muddied holes, for the years of disservice and greed-blinded idiocy they collectively have thrust upon the citizens in this State.
That these same persons are still being given credibility by this State’s media controllers is a disgrace upon the media proprietors themselves, more-so it actually and accurately points out that the media itself were the major charlatanistic support base for these many years of havoc destruction and environmental genocide.
The long-fought battle by a number of exemplary State citizens that should be favoured with proud recognition for the part they have played in bringing this failed GBE, (now teetering on the very brink shut-down due to its abominable and roundly dishonourable past) now to the leaning inward from the edge to tumbling into the abyss of total ruin and and abandonment.
Its current Chief of operations or be it CEO claiming this same final end to the life and times of this logging behemoth while speaking publicly, and yes through the very pages of one of this State’s most discordant ‘pro-logging destruction’ media outlets: The Examiner newspaper.
The authors of many fine articles written about the ways over the many preceding years that were all based on the failing practices and purposes, also the methods of the marketing of the acquired Crown Land forests, are indeed fact not fancy, of the inherent corruption within this State Government Business Enterprise, which also includes the collusive dealings with the now bankrupted Beasts of the Bush Gunns Ltd, these authors are to be remembered for their absolutely accurate analysis and researches of the scale of Tasmania’s greed besotted rampages by the likes of Gunns and Forestry Tasmania.
There are those that still may rail against Kim Booth MP, yet he has ever been an advocate of honest open accountability from this pariah of logging proponents. This man’s tireless energies and interests to make Tasmania’s people so aware of the scale of ruin and destruction is of legendary status and must also be remembered.
The rapid industrialisation of wood-chipping the major volume of our forests into wood-chips, has actually hastened the demise of Forestry Tasmania, along with the corrupting endeavours of those that invited Ta Ann into Tasmania to further take its ferocious costing, negligible-revenue-returning toll upon the State’s one-time huge realm and bounty of this State’s Native Forested resources.
Currently international media reports contain the words describing the owners of Ta Ann as the World’s largest destroyers of this World’s tropical rainforests, with all the corruptly gained Billions going directly into the Ta Ann dynasty as do the spoils of pirates and cut-throat thieves become their personal plunder.
