“We are committed to helping businesses create jobs and grow the economy. Quality skills training enables businesses to have the confidence that their employees will help their business to grow.”
Minister for Education & Training Jeremy Rockliff said that the Awards promote a more efficient and competitive training system.
“The Liberal Government’s vision is to create a job-ready generation.
“We are laying the foundations to achieve our vision with initiatives aimed at improving educational outcomes, including extending high schools to Year 12 and employing literacy and numeracy teachers.
“Trade training is an important next step for many young people as they make the transition from education to the workforce, and these Awards provide fitting recognition for those who excel.”
