THE PEACOCK THEATRE
Tell Tails is a solo theatre show created and performed by Bridget Nicklason-King. The show is inspired by Bridget’s Granny who lead an extraordinary life, her knack for telling the most wild tales to her grandchildren was legendary.
“Tell Tails is my first ever full length solo show, it’s a wild ride of adventure, danger and love. I am working with a fantastic team which includes, Kelly Drummond Cawthon who is my mentor and Heath Brown who has created an outstanding original soundtrack” – Creator, Bridget Nicklason-King.
After 5 years in the making, Tell Tails will premier this week in Hobart before going straight on tour! The first stop is headlining at The Butterfly Club in the Melbourne Fringe Festival!
In preparation for touring, set and lighting designer Jason James has spent days recreating The Butterfly Club inside The Peacock Theatre. He has created a theatre within a theatre by meticulously matching the stage, lighting and audience experience for both the Hobart and Melbourne crowds! Doors will be open from 7.30pm each night, where you’ll find a luscious bar and resident circus star Penelope Popcorn awaiting your arrival!
