Labor Leader Bryan Green has congratulated the Lark Distillery for being named Best Small Business Australia at last night’s Telstra Business Awards.
“Congratulations to Bill Lark and all at Lark Distillery,” Mr Green said.
“Lark Distillery’s world-class product has put Tasmania on the map in whisky circles and Bill Lark is a fantastic ambassador for our state.
“This award recognises not only that fantastic product, but also Bill’s ability to run a successful business.
“Lark Distillery unashamedly uses Tasmania to sell their product and in turn helps the state’s brand recognition.
“Lark’s success shows that the Tasmanian economy can thrive if it continues diversify.
“Labor is proud to have supported businesses like Lark Distillery when in Government.”
