Today’s Netball Tasmania ‘Explore Netball’ conference is an opportunity for the Tasmanian netball community to get together and share their ideas for growing, improving and developing this already popular sport, across the State.
The Liberal Government has committed $30,000 to enable Tasmania to host pre-competition activities for one to two international teams competing in the 2015 Netball World Cup.
This will provide an excellent opportunity for Tasmanian netball players to observe world-class players in action.
The Liberal Government is strongly supportive of making it easier for Tasmanians to be active and involved in sport.
It is this Government’s target to ensure Tasmania has the healthiest population in Australia by 2025.
