We invite you to attend the opening of Fashion Fancies: Textiles from the Moon Collection, DCC Permanent Collection Exhibition, curated by Dunja Rmandic, opening Friday 27 June, 6 pm.
The annual Permanent Collection exhibition will showcase the Gallery’s Moon Collection of textiles. The selection of dresses and textiles spans a century between 1840 and 1950. These items and many others in the Collection were originally owned by the Moon family and acquired by the Gallery in 1980. Some of the collection will be shown for the first time.
The exhibition will mark the completion of the Gallery’s Permanent Collection relocation into the new state-of-the-art facility. This is the first exhibition curated from the facility.
The exhibition will continue until 10 August, 2015.
