There is increasing upset and concern by many Australian’s about the conviction of Sue Neill-Fraser for the murder of Bob Chappell.

Three events in Tasmania this weekend show how the community has rallied together to keep this case in the spotlight.

The supporters of Sue Neill-Fraser are gathering together for another vigil this Friday night 27 June at 5.30pm on Parliament House Lawns. They will honour Bob Chappell and launch a protest song about the case. Speakers at the event include Lynn Giddings, Sarah Bowles (Sue’s daughter) and Eve Ash, psychologist and producer of the multi award winning documentary about the case.

SHADOW of DOUBT

Eve Ash who also wrote the lyrics to the song being launched said “We must bring attention to Sue’s case and anyone wrongfully convicted. Films and songs are a great way to inform and educate and raise awareness. And most importantly help change the Justice System to avoid mistakes in the future”.

The film SHADOW OF DOUBT has been selected by the Western Tiers Film Society for screening in Deloraine on Saturday 28 June. It will be shown at the Deloraine Primary School at 7.30pm and speakers at the event will include Eve Ash and lawyer Barbara Etter APM, with Q&A after the film.

Additionally, on Monday 30 June at 6pm, the Hobart State Cinema will be holding a special one-off screening of SHADOW OF DOUBT also followed by Q&A. .This has been made possible by the supporters group who want Tasmanians to see the documentary, question this case, and seek justice for Sue. Barbara Etter APM and Eve Ash, producer will be speaking briefly. Tickets are available online through State Cinema.
