Will Hodgman has displayed the height of arrogance and hypocrisy by turning the first sods of Ta Ann’s plywood mill today, Labor Leader Bryan Green said.

“I whole heartedly welcome this boost for jobs on the North-West Coast,’’ Mr Green said.

“But it is rank hypocrisy for Will Hodgman to be there claiming credit for this investment when he opposed the TFA process that delivered the money.

“Labor steered the TFA through Parliament while the Liberals fought the agreement, the funding and its outcomes every step of the way.

“The Liberals’ forest legislation puts a question mark over the market certainty Ta Ann requires and throws FSC certification into doubt.”
