Westpac Agribusiness has become a majorpartner of the Future Farmers’ Network (FFN), an organisation that empowers and supports young people in Australian agriculture, the bank announced today.

Susan Bower, Head Of Agribusiness at Westpac, said that the new “Platinum Partnership” shows the bank’s commitment to the future of Australian agriculture and the next generation of men and women working across the industry.

“Westpac Agribusiness is proud to be supporting young people working in all parts of the agriculture industry, from farmers through to commodity traders, agents and industry support roles, through the FFN,” she said.

“Since 2002 the FFN has been providing practical support to people aged 16-35, including career information, industry networks and forums, training support, social networks and professional skills development.

“Westpac Agribusiness will work with the FFN to offer new services in financial education – a critical skill for the next generation of agriculture professionals.”

FFN Chair Georgie Aley says the organisation is delighted to welcome Westpac Agribusiness as a platinum partner.
