Ten Days is delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with Hobart restaurant Cultura, to present
WINTER, the first of a series of seasonal dinner and concert events, to be held on 1 June 2014.
Ten Days Artistic Director David Malacari said WINTER was the first of new program of seasonal events,
co-hosted with Cultura restaurant, which will be presented over the next 12 months. WINTER is an
evening for the cooler months.
“Guests will first enjoy an intimate performance from the Josh Dunn Trio in Gallery Ten, over a glass of
Tasmanian Jansz sparkling,” Mr Malacari said.
“Josh is an exceptional acoustic guitar player who specialises in contemporary jazz music. He will be
accompanied by Matt Boden playing accordion and Hamish Houston on double bass. The trio will
perform a musical set that will be a reflection on winter.
“Immediately following the concert, guests will be served a tantalising four-course Tasmanian winter
menu at Cultura, adjacent to Gallery 10. It will be a very special evening.”
Cultura Manager Luke Rocchia said guests would be treated to some of Tasmania’s highest quality
cuisine, in a fine dining winter experience.
“Diners will enjoy a menu of the best local seasonal produce, including Tassal salmon, Cape Grim beef,
Scottsdale pork belly and Christmas Hills raspberries,” Mr Rocchia said.
“It’s fantastic to be working in conjunction with Ten Days, as it is not only provides great exposure for our
restaurant, but also for Tasmanian produce.”
WINTER follows on from the popular Spiegeltent, in an exciting new strategic direction for Ten Days,
evolving from a biennial festival to offering audiences across the state access and enjoyment to a range of
multifaceted cultural experiences all year round.
Tickets are available for $125 per person, which includes a welcome glass of Jansz, a sumptuous fourcourse
meal and a night of delightful music.
