Rove McManus, David Wenham, Nick Cave, John Williamson and Dr Karl Kruszelnicki defend Tasmania’s World Heritage Area

The Bob Brown Foundations Global Voices for World Heritage has attracted the support of prominent internationally famed Australian’s comedian Rove McManus, actor David Wenham and musician Nick Cave. Also joining the campaign are Australian country music veteran John Williamson AM and Dr Karl Kruszelnicki AM, scientist and author, Australia’s best known science commentator.

The support from prominent Australians and international environmentalists has grown since The Bob Brown Foundation launched its new online campaign.

“Having high-profile Australian’s such as Rove McManus, David Wenham and Nick Cave join our cast of Global Voices puts an international spotlight on the Australian Government’s attack on world heritage in their application to withdraw 74 000 ha from Tasmania’s world heritage area,” Jenny Weber said.
