The wonderful story of little Spitfire and her rainforest friends will delight and engage your child’s imagination through story and activities.

Sunday 9th
Tarkine campaign
10:30 to 11:30
The Wilderness Society will discuss the latest from the campaign.

Tarkine Wilderness with Tarkine Trails and The Wilderness Society
1 pm to 2 pm, all welcome
Learn about the landscape, the wildlife, and wilderness values with experienced people who know the special places of the Tarkine.

Kids Storytelling Time with Jackie
10:30 to 11:30 (Ages 4 – 9, all welcome) Playschool style in the house!

The Art of Sound with Jaiia
1 pm to 3pm (Ages 12 – adult, all welcome)
You are warmly invited to share and explore harmony, rhythm, and song improvisation. Be part of creating a song for the Tarkine!

Water and Land in the Tarkine with David Leaman
10:30 to 11:30, all welcome
David is a geohydrologist, researching water resources and land use in Tasmania. An open Q & A following your interests in Tasmanian land use.

Sunday 16th
Wilderness photography with Rob Blakers
2 pm to 3 pm, all welcome
Rob is a wilderness and landscape photographer who has specialised in the Tasmanian wilderness for 30 years. He will teach and describe techniques and tips for better outdoors photography.
